My Suggested New Home Of Conservative Media

Two stories as of late have caught my attention.  First are stories that there is a new conservative network in the works to challenge FoxNews.  Stories seem to say there is money and leadership available, top conservatives already on board, and even rumors they are trying to lure powerhouse Sean Hannity.  Second is the story that far right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos has also been funded to start a new media group.  That is what gave me an idea.

New York is the old home for the legacy media.  It is also behind enemy lines when it comes to the far left.  The same goes for LA that is so far to the left that New York actually DOES look conservative in contrast.  So where SHOULD conservatives be looking?  No need to look to hard, in many ways the place has already been found making the choice obvious.  Milo has the right idea on where start a company for the new media and rather than base in such hostile territory.

South Florida

First the political and media reasons:

  • Palm Beach is now the home of the Trump Winter White House and will therefore be a center of activity for the next 4-8 years.
  • Rush Limbaugh, one of the greatest leaders of conservative media, broadcasts from Palm Beach.
  • Matt Drudge runs Drudge Report from the Miami area.  If Rush sets the town for conservatives, Drudge sets the tone that MSM uses to follow us.
  • Milo is already starting his new venture down here.

Then the non-political reasons:

  • Weather
  • Beaches
  • Booze
  • Boats

Besides, Florida is used to the liberal elite making fun of the state.  Anything else they say because we become the center of conservatism will just be a boring rehash of past insults.
